Tournament Rules

Divisions

Tournament will consist of six (6) divisions 

  • Male players thirty (30) and over.  With up to three players with a minimum age of 28.

  • Male players forty (40) and over.  With up to three players with a minimum age of 38.

  • Male players fifty (50) and over. With up to three players with a minimum age of 48.

  • Male players sixty (60) and over. With up to three players with a minimum age of 58. 

  • Male players sixty-five (65) and over. With up to three players with a minimum age of 63.

  • Male players eighteen (18) and over. No underage players will be allowed.

A team may only compete in one division. A player may only compete in one division.

PLAYER'S AGE

A player's age is determined as the age they will be on December 31, 2023.  No under-age players are allowed in any of the age brackets.  To be eligible in the following divisions a player needs to be:

   18 & Over - Born on or before May 26, 2005  NO EXEMPTIONS/NO EXCEPTIONS

   30 & Over - Born in or before 1993 with up to 3 players born in or before 1995

   40 & Over - Born in or before 1983 with up to 3 players born in or before 1985

   50 & Over - Born in or before 1973 with up to 3 players born in or before 1975

   60 & Over - Born in or before 1963 with up to 3 players born in or before 1965

   65 & Over - Born in or before 1958 with up to 3 players born in or before 1960

 

PHOTO ID

Original government issued, photo ID with birth date is needed to verify eligibility (i.e. driver's license with photo, a passport with photo, or a photo ID recognized by the United States Government).  Photo ID must be kept by the player, at the field, at all times.

​If a team is found guilty of playing an underage player, the following shall be enforced:

  1. All games played by that player shall be scored a forfeit; and

  2. A fine of $250.00 will be assessed and paid.

 

GAME FORMAT

  • All games will be 70 minutes in duration - two 35 minute halves. 

  • 5 minute half-time break. (maximum)

  • 10 minutes warm up on the pitch (maximum)

  • Unlimited substitution only at throw-ins, goal kicks, injury time outs and half-time.

  • No slide tackling allowed in all divisions with the exception of the 18 & Over division.

 

POINT SYSTEM

  • A win shall be scored as 6 points.

  • A tie shall be scored as 3 points.

  • A loss shall be scored as 0 points.

  • 1 point for each goal up to 3 goals.

  • 1 point for a shut out, except 0-0 ties.

  • Deduct 1 point for each red card.

  • Forfeits will be scored 1-0 (8 points).*

*If a team is not ready (minimum of 7 players required) to start the game within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time of the match they will forfeit the game with a score of 1-0.

Final standing will be determined as follows:

  1. Total points.

  2. Head-to-head record against each other.

  3. Goals scored - up to 3 each game.

  4. Goals against - the team with the least goals scored.

  5. Shuts outs

  6. Red cards.

  7. Coin toss.​

 

ROSTERS

A team may have an unlimited number of players on its roster; however, a team may only list twenty-one (21) players as eligible for any given game.  All players participating in a game will need to  be present upon request at the start or during the game for review wearing a valid wristband.  Referee or tournament official may ask for a government approved ID to confirm player eligibility.

No player may play on more than one roster.

Team rosters are to be submitted by the Managers when the team is registered. Any changes to the roster after the team registration has been approved will cost $5.00 per player. At 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 24th all team rosters are frozen and no additions or changes will be allowed. Game cards with all rostered players will be printed at that time.

All players will be issued a tournament wristband with the team name affixed.  The wristband must be worn for the duration of the tournament and are NOT transferable.  Players without wristbands will not be allowed to play.  There will be a $5.00 replacement fee for lost wristbands, including red or multiple yellow card violations. 

After May 1, 2023 there will be no entry fee refunds.

Player Conduct

  • Anyone receiving a red card will be suspended for a minimum of 1 match. All red cards will be reviewed by the PAD Committee. Additional games may be added to the suspension by the PAD Committee.

  • Anyone abusing officials will receive a red card and will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament and must leave the soccer facility.

  • If a player is asked by any official of the tournament for proof of age, the player shall immediately show an acceptable ID (original driver's license with a photo, passport or photo ID recognized by the US government).  If a team is found guilty of playing an under age player the applicable penalties will be applied.

  • No player will be allowed on the field without an official wristband.

  • The visiting team listed on the schedule will change color if there is a conflict.​

 

THE GAME SCHEDULE (FIELD, TIME, AND OPPONENT) MAY BE CHANGED BY THE DIRECTOR IF CONDITIONS REQUIRE A REMEDY DURING THE TOURNAMENT. APPROPRIATE LEAD TIME WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY TEAM IMPACTED BY THE CHANGE.
